1957 - Dipl. Eng. in Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT)

From 1957 - to the present work in Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics Russian Academy of Sciences (IRE RAS).

1964 - Candidate of Sciences (in Radio Engineering),

1965 - Senior Scientist,

1966 -Head of Laboratory «Millimeter and Submillimeter Measurements and Spectroscopy».

1978 - Doctor of Sciences (in Physics and Mathematics, Radio Physics),

1981 - Professor (Radio Physics),

1980 - Soviet Union State Prize Winner (in Science, Physics).

1998 - Honoured Scientist of Russia.

From 1975 - to the present work also in MIPT:

1981 - Professor,

1985 - Deputy Head of Chair «Solid State Electronics and Radio Physics», Head of Speciality «Radiophysics».

He has:

authored and coauthored more than 200 scientific papers and two books,

5 invited review Reports at the international conferences,

He was:

evaluator of 12 doctor dissertation,

supervisor of 10 post graduate students,

invited professor in Germany, UK, Japan, Brazil, Finland, India, Bulgaria,

He is:

2 silver and 3 bronze medals prizewinner by Central Exhibition of USSR-achievements,

evaluator of ministry for Science and Education RF for projects funding,

member Scientific council of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology,

member of 2 Scientific council for evaluation of doctor dissertation,

member of editorial board in publicity house for radio-electronic,

member of IEEE.

Research Interest:

microwave, millimeter and submillimeter wave physics and techniques; including investigation of material properties, spectroscopy, guiding structures as well as application of millimeter waves for interscopy, nondestructive materials and media content determination, aquametry.
